Meaning of Free Bird For Liz's Parents
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me
Liz, you will never be forgotten, you will always be
in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
For I must be traveling on now
Cause there’s too many places I’ve got to see
Liz, wanted to see the world, especially New York City,
she loved big cities, she also loved the Black Hills.
But if I stayed here with you, (girl)
Things just couldn’t be the same.
Cause I’m as free as a bird now
Lord knows, I can’t change
Liz was a free spirit, stubborn at times, but determined.
Bye Bye its been a sweet love
Though this feeling I can’t change
Liz loved her son, Dylan, and had to do
what was in her heart no matter what, love is unbound.
But please don’t take this badly
Lord Knows I’m to blame
The Lord knows that no one is to blame,
the Lord knew he needed her back in his arms.
But if I stay with you (girl)
Things just could not be the same
Cause I’m as free as a bird now
And this bird you’ll never change
And this bird you’ll never change
Lord knows I can’t change
Lord help me I can’t change
Liz was a free as free bird, she was a free
spirit and had to do what she thought was right no
matter what, no matter when. To Liz friendship and
love had no boundaries, it was a matter of the heart,
of the mind and soul.
Liz, We miss you, we will always be
looking for you “Free Bird”, in every bird we see.
Forever in our hearts!
She is Gone
You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray
that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can b
